Description

The primary objective of this project was to develop a comprehensive GIS-based traffic safety management system for traffic safety analysis and evaluation. The system utilizes a recently developed crash data collection and management system and further integrates such data with other relevant Entities such as

• socio-economic information
• Road asset data
• Traffic data
• Drivers
• Vehicle registration data
• Medical treatment data
• Accidents & Incidents

Main Scope

• Review of International and Regional Practices of similar systems
• Design, implementation, and operation of Traffic Safety Management System
• Test, operate, and maintain the full system
